Just had bearing arms replaced - FORKED OUT!!

Just got the bill from Audi to replace both bearing arms. Over £400 - thats crazy! But - keep it all Audi etc etc.

Would have saved maybe upto 150 doing 3rd party parts with a non Audi dealer... not really worth it is it?

Still... 400... OUCH!

Audi stealers have us by the balls, i do all my repairs myself simply because of there prices.
i changed the bottom 4 arms, the track rod ends and the "c" links off the antiroll bar but the parts have still cost me £300 all genuine parts

i could have saved a total of £75 by getting them thru a parts supplier, but will they be right first time or are they not to the same standard as OE ?
i dont think its worth the risk espec with engine parts etc

you could have probably saved £50 per ball joint if you had gone to german sweedish and french, and their parst look Very similar to genuine parts (markings and all)
probably made in the same place!!!
