Handbrake adjustment

In the last couple of weeks, I have noticed my handbrake getting looser and looser. Now, it doesn't grip at all until the 10th click.... yeah... seriously loose! haha!

Anyway... I have searched google, and come across several things on what to do, but they're all about if you have just replaced everything. Plus... I don't understand them. lol.

i've had the centre consol bit appart, but no joy. lol!

please help!!! May even be a stretched cable?

TBH as long as the cables are connected they rarely stretch that much. I can assume that your pads are low and the calipers are sticking causing you an excess of movement for the handbrake cables to pull up.
The cable adjusters are under the car, under the heat shield above the exhaust
