LED tail lights fitted, dash light on

I have just bought and fitted some LED tail lights from Germany. (Ebay.de) They all work fine, with the swapping of rev. light and indicator light. lol.

now, whenever I put the side lights on, and brake lights on, the dash bleeps and shows that the bulbs are out.

I know that with some E46's, they have to be programmed to recognise LED lights. Can the same be done with the A4, or is it just something that I am going to have to live with? i have the basic Vag-Com system. Can I do it with this?

You need some load resistors, 2 pairs, one set for the side light, and one set for the brake lights. They cost around £6 a pair on the bay and you need 2 pairs.

Had the same problem on both cars.

aha! Nice one thanks! =D they are the same as yours, but a tad darker.
