For quite a while now my car has been making some strange "clunks" and "bangs" when pulling away from standing at normal speeds, it dont do it when pulling away quickly (or i cant hear/feel it).

it seems there is a split second between the rear wheels turning and the front turning, I would like to ask is "is this common, normal " /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Mine kinda does that... not as bad as you seem to describe it, but at times I think I feel a bit of a clunk...
