Rear bumper removal?

Ok, located the main bolts in the boot that need removed under boot carpet, but at sides where bumper meets rear arches there seems to be another small piece of black splash guard on inner wheel arch, how is this removed as i dont see a fixing? This stops the bumper from being pulled backwards and off the car, any help?

just swapped one today, it pulls out first of locating bracket then back
get some gloves on and pull, its on very tight!!!!

Cheers. Tried that the other day, but looked like bumper was gonna bend n crease, or break. So u mean, pull the 2 side sections away from car, left n right side? If so, how would it b re-installed if your pullin them out like that, push back into arch? I take it they must b clips of sum sort rather than guides/runners like most other cars?
