    B5 lowering

Hi all, sorry for all the questions lately, new to all this and trying to take in as much information as possible.

I would like to lower my A4 30-40mm, no more really. I've had a look at Eibach springs but they seem to lower a little bit more than I'd like. I don't want to go the coilover route as they're too expensive what what I need to be honest.

Are there any other makes out there that would be suitable? Also, where would be a good place to get them? I've heard H&R are good?

    Thanks in advance

    Dave

You want an eibach pro-kit, not thier "streetline" or whatever they're called.

They lower the car about 20mm or so more than a sport, and imo it gives just the right height.

Thats Craigs S4, with a 2.5 TDI Quattro Avant Pro-Kit installed.

Thanks for the recommendation. That's the sort of height I'm after, with the 18s it should look a little lower I expect...

Depending on what model you have you'll get a 30mm drop from the Pro kit and they're 153.50.

I fitted the Eibach Pro kit to my B5 and the ride and handling has certainly been improved. Have to be honest though I really want it to sit about another 20mm lower than it does now. Number of people that don't beleive it's been lowered when they look at it

I'm due to change th etyres soon on the back so might go to a 235/40/18 instead of the 225/40/18's. Rims are 18x 8 and iirc ET40
