Indicator stork removal

Can anyone give me any advice on fitting a new indicator stork on my b5? Any hints or tips at removing steering wheel etc would be cool, it'll save me spending any more hours on it that are needed

Basically you remove the airbag, then the wheel, then there are two bolts that run thru the stalk holding it (and i think the cowling) on.

Be sure not to move the contact ring when you remove the wheel, if it doesnt go back on in the same orientation you will likely break the coil inside it when you steer.
