Max S4 wheel size.....?

Lookin for some new shoes for my 2000 S4 and I need to figure what will fit in my wheel wells. Ideally I'd like to do something like 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear; is that as big as I can go without fender modification? Also what is the widest tire I can fit (ie: ???/35R19); is 235 the widest I can go? So many questions!!! HELP ME!!

i would say that 8.5 is the very limit, i have 18x8.5 on mine and i occasionally get rubbing on the front wheel arch.

Rubber on mine is 235/40/18 (i would suggest 225/40/18) and its rubbing on the wheel arch when the springs are under full compression from hard braking or hard and fast turning.

I would say either 18x8 or 19x8 to avoid rubbing issues.

If your car is not lowered, mine is, then you may not experience any issues other than a few more stonechips.

If you do not lower your car slightly then your car may look funny with bigger shoes on, you will have increased ride height.
