What does it mean??

I know this is probably been asked before, but I couldn't find anything about it when I checked the archives. Anyway back to the point.

When starting my Car (A4 1.8T Sport. On the Milage display, the one you can reset it flashes 1n 1 for about a minute before returning to the milage count. You can get rid of it quicker by pressing the reset button. I just wondered if anyone new what this was.

Hi mate, it needs a service. In1 stands for Service Interval 1. If you leave it longer it will become in2 = Service interval 2 which means the service needs to be more comprehensive.
