Andy's selling his car

I peeled my A4 badge off recently. Just used a plastic scraper behind it to remove the plastic badge, gently rubbed/picked off the remaining foam mess, then gave it a good going over with 3 or 4 coats of autoglym paint restorer to remove the remaining glue and the tarnishing that seemed to be there between the badges.

Might do the 1.8T badge at some point, but it started raining so i stopped.

I use high tensile fishing line and a heat gun as the fishing wire wont damage the paint at all.

That's good news, Paul, glad you'll be taking good care of her, as Andy did.

Expecting to see some good progress pictures.

Picked her up lastnight - she drop nice, few niggles but hopefully nothing that cant be sorted. The bodywork really needs some TLC, but I love sorting all that out.

Actually liked the look of the wheels Andy, probably still wont keep them but now can spend the money on the body and save for the wheels another time.

So a big thanks to Andy for being a gent - I'll look after her and keep you updated with pictures.

Good work, I understand you are local to me ish, maybe you can make the next Welsh meet?
