Induction Kit?

Anyone fitted one on theyre 1.8t?
I was going to today, but when i looked, theres a lot hanging off the airbox, and it seems to have a very good air feed from the grille so didnt see the point?

Don't bother unless its just for noise, the OE box will feed more that enough air for 300bhp without problems. Aslo the oil in some of the aftermarket filters can damage your MAF

The airflow from your airbox is as good as you're going to get - you may find it has some additional air feeds from the wheel arch area...

i had one for a while, noise is good but it was a crap fit, looks chavvy and after a while you start thinking about heat soak!!

get a cookie cutter to the bottom front corner of your airbox, look at the shaving, smoothing mod on VWVortex and change yoru filter for a new OEM.

a guy on vortex gasflowed all the major RAM and CAI's on the market and then did one against a shaved stock OEM box......it won!
