Low boost?

Changed my boost guage over to my brothers spare (and accurate) one as the TIM job was useless and was only there to plug a gap.

On my drive at lunchtime I find I'm only peaking at 12psi and holding 8-10psi. I thought it seemed a little flat. Any idea's where I should start looking?

Boost pipes are all present and tight

Thats about right for some std chipped maps, mine was doing much the same and still pulling 199bhp ish. They tweaked the timing more than the boost iirc.

standard boost is 8psi?

Dont know if the standard management system does any kind of overboost though?
