Fitting the keyess kit from vagparts - help!

Hello,

I got my keyless entry kit from VAGPARTS today, and I notice the first step is to disconnet the battery. The kit connects inline to the central locking unit in the boot - do Ireallyneed to disconnect the battery? its just I dont have the key code to my radio.

You'll be fine as long as you are postive with the connections. The block connectors are fairly foolproof but be aware the risk is still there.
