Hi All

I recently got some OEM roof bars for my B5 - They look pretty cool and fit great, however I have a couple of issues...

First, they make a lot of noise over 40mph, but I think that's possibly due to a gap in the rubber along the t-track along the top...

Second, and most importantly, I can't fit any of the accessories I had on my old car (that had square bars).

I'm after some way of fitting them... I reckon an M6 bolt with a piece of metal along the bottom that fits inside the t-track would do the trick.

Anyone know where I can get some??

Cheers!

Josh

thule bars?
they come with a rubber strip to fill the gap where there are no accesories.

as for fitting things to it, did the square ones have u bolt arrangement around the actual bar?
you need some square "nuts" that you slide into the groove and tighten up.
they also come with any Thule accesories. I have the cycle bars from them too

I need some of them for my B5 bars too... although when I bought my Thule basket new, it didn't come with these fixings, which is a bit of a bummer.

Got a special addition on order from America for my set-up too. Will post pics when it arrives.
