An Imola S4 Joins The Black Roof Club

Almost tempted to paint my UrS4 Avant in Imola too, with black roof!

This has just been done by my bodywork guy, it hasn't been polished yet (I couldn't tell, but he wasn't keen on me taking pictures whilst it was uncompleted).

He also removed the gutter strips, and painted them seperately, will all be mopped tomorrow, and refitted.

The only picture I managed to get, before I was shooed away from the car...

For those with Imola / Brilliant Yellow cars, who wonder how it would look with a black roof.

always looks a bit like a car wearing a hat or a wig when I see them.
not a big yellow fan.
your orange one (don't remember the real colour name!) looks much cooler.

Mine'll be black (or a dark grey) when I get around to sorting the paint out... withmatching wing mirrors.

That looks good in black though!

There was a silver MK4 Golf on the cover of PVW a while back that had a dark grey roof and mirrors, also painted the bars of the front grill and the centres of his wheels all in the same colour, looked real good, nice and subtle but def different, that gets my vote!

Here's a pic, not the best but you can kinda get the idea only one I could find quick, different Maybach rims now, but still colour coded the same grey.
