Buying advice on A4 Avant 1.8T?

Hi,

I'm a newbie and thinking of buying a 1.8T Avant, hopefully the sport model, can anyone tell me or point me in the right direction about things to lookout for?

I'm looking at spending about 4500ukp ish;.

p.s. Should I go for FWD or Quattro? I assume Quattro is better bt will add more weight, and be more costly to run?

Re Quattro, yes it will add weight, yes it will be more costly to run, yest it will be a better car and yes you should go for it.
