Hey, ive been knocking about on here for a few months now, got a 2.5tdi avant as a daily and thought id put up a few progress pics

Nothing too daft happening as its a daily driver, ive got a fiesta turbo, mk3/4 escort thing and an r32 skyline for fun

when it was advertised








211k on the clock, full service history, went up and test drove it, bit of a knock on the front end but engine was sweet as a nut

next came the s4 wheels that i bought with the car



and a leather trim off ebay, minus door cards and some cleaning!


then bit the bullet and bought a new set of AP coilovers from venom, fitted them at weekend, just waiting for them to settle propperly before i start adjusting






also tried a mates 19inch lm reps but cant afford the price he wants for them unfortunately



thats about it for now, ive got this bumper


that i bought off ebay, im currently half way through smoothing the swage line out of it


hoping to get it on next week sometime, along with removing the weather strips off the bottom of the doors, colour coding the sills and smoothing and removing the exhaust recess on the back bumper

then it will be facelift lights and other bits

polo when i got it

and when i sold it

electric half leather half alcantra trim, bonnet bra, vinyl roof, 16v bumpers, debadged, red grille, coilovers, borbet a's, system etc, cooking oil runaround

green and aubergine fiestas were 1.8ds, white one started life as a 1.1popular lol

i get between 35 and 42 round town, 50 ish on a run if you drive it nice

just make sure its had the cambelt done!... mine was expensive lol

cool, i think ill have a bit of a drop as its a quattro, belts and water pump done 5k ago, think ill miss the avant tho, they do look good

bit of an update

got some new wheels and finished the bumper and fitted it, dechromed the grille. im still undecided on the bumper, but i only fitted it this morning so i suppose i'll have to see if it grows on me!













wheels are 18x8.5 reps, et35, i was only buying them as a stop gap instead of the S4 avus's, but i have to admit, as common as they are i love the way they look!

yeah, facelift lights and bonnet maybe. LCR splitter, s4 skirts, smooth back bumper with exhaust recess removed, debadge and remove the weatherstrips off the bottom of the door. then, aside putting bigger brakes on and tartin up the interior some more, ill call it done...... apparently haha
