Facelift tail light fitting

Want to get my shiny new lights on this evening. Now my facelift lights have come complete with bulb holders. I'm assuming I can just plug these straight into my existing loom? I know I need to swap a couple of pins round in the loom just want to make sure there is nothing funny about the holders. Was thinking of doing the twin rear fog mod while playing with it.

Just the wire swap when i went from 98.5s to facelift. All the holders i used were from the facelift lights and i would do the fog mod while they are off, its much easier

Well they're on, and I think they look loads nicer than the originals.

My brother's come over for pizza and a gossip and he's done the pin swap. For anybodies reference the pin swaps are;

O/S - Swap Blue/Red with Black/Green
N/S - Swap Blue/Red with Black/White

I started on trimming the cluster and my Dremmel packed up so it'll have to wait until I can borrow my brothers one. Been up to my neck in it with decorating and the missus sisters wedding. Time is a drawback at the moment

Car is a 1.8T, and before it get's said I kow the RS badge isn't to everybodies liking but I like it and I'm keeping it.

Please excuse me bumping this post back up, I currently run these pre-facelift S4 lights:

And want to switch to the clear reverse light ones mentioned in this post. My car is an early '99 S4 so will I need to modify my bulb holder wiring at all?

Also, can you guys recommend any places to purchase a set of these in the London area? Are there any Audi breakers I should head for or should I trump up the £78 that GSF want for a set (of what I assume are the DEPO units).

Oh and first post, so hi from me. I'm on AudiSRS and RS246 but i'm looking for specialist information about pre-facelift UK A4's and this seems to be a great resource for them.
