    Rear deck speakers

At the moment my stereo consists of 2 amps, Focal components up front and 2 12" Kicker subs. Now I need some rear speakers toprovide some rear fill. What are they 6" and are there any issues with swapping them out. I have a small 2x 75w Kenwood amp to run them.

    Thinking about these

pretty easy just watch the depth and magnet width , best remove the shelf , fit/make adaptors then trial fit a few or get a local dealer / halfords to try a few

I wouldnt run rear deck speakers at all with subs in the boot.

The subs just knock the deck speakers around as they're sharing the same airspace.

Cant you just upgrade the rear door speakers and use those for rear fill?

odd, both our avant and craigs S4 saloon has them...

Perhaps you just need some door cards from an avant/saloon model with door speakers?

Hmm, andy does your S4 have Bose?

Our avant doesnt, but then the rear doors are the only place for the rear speakers...

Craigs S4 has bose, so perhaps only avants and Bose equipped saloons got the rear door speakers?

Should still be possible to grab a pair of avant door cards and drop them in... I think theres a chap on here breaking one, might be worth an email?

    ^^^^^^^ agree
yes i have done this to my saloon also took out the rears alltogether and the sub has a good free flow, you will have to remove some trim on the centre pillar a bit tricky for me anyway.... but well worth it

im sure they are larger even with the adaptors and they sound ok too. and they have mounted them straight on unlike the funny angle at the front.
