6speed 2.5tdi gearbox and linkage wanted

hi all,

im after the 6 speed gearbox off a 2.5tdi and also the linkage.

It turns out these are pretty rare, anybody seen one for sale recently?
if anybody has the bits i have a reasonable sum of cash here for them!

I think you should also be able to use the box from a 1.9TDi

You dont say if your car is FWD or Quattro, if its a quattro i think the S4 box will work too, although these are quite dear.

You should also be able to look at newer model A4's like the B6, the A6, and the B5/B5.5 Passat as the platform is pretty similar

I saw a 1.9tdi 6 speed FWD box sell on ebay the other day for £150, I was going to bid on it, but i kinda forgot, plus the missus would likely have killed me

I think this box is for Andy's 1,9 TDI, so an S4 box won't be any good.

Way too low-geared for a diesel engine; with it's limited rev range, the car would probably max out at just over 100mph, and be quite thirsty too.
