OT EGR valve plate for corsa

sorry for posting on here, but im sure i would get a better response here

the wife's dreaded 2001 corsa has come up with the egr valve alarm again seen this on eBay Linky

they seem to work has anyone used these plates?

the only issue would be that if the valve is faulty, the ECU will still see the faulty valve, and it will still run in limp mode...

Its a standard thing to do on many new cars now, bypass them. As long as what he says is correct and leaving it connected will stop it faulting, then you are good,however seeing as you already have a code showing it may be too late.
