Indeed... Although I had 3 yrs in Fort William, that felt pretty up there. So many English folk! No tjust tourists B&B's! Not bothered about that in the slightest but I could have been in a medium sized town in lake district...

well for me anything above dartford river crossing is north lol lol lol

Its one of those roads that you can end up stuck behind a biffer doing 45 and no chance of an overtake for miles though as it can get pretty busy

The A84/A85 from stirling to oban and its A82/A85 counterpart from Dumbarton to oban are nice roads, with enough overtaking opportunities to stop it becoming tedious

Lost one car on the A82 and one on the A85.... both mitsubishi's. Neadless to say I drive an Audi now....
