How to disable EDL?

Is there any way to disable the Electronic Differental Lock?

I have a 1996 2.6 V6

If it has its own fuse, you could just remove the fuse. May I ask why you want to disable it?

It doesn't have a fuse, i just want to see if it makes any difference to the car in 1st gear

all i know is if you wield the differential your car is faster at drag racing and slower in the twisties
