Help with me new headlights and bumper

i have bought headlights and front bumper off a 1999 face lift a4 saloon, will the bumper fit on my 1996 a4 avant.
i have read the post on the headlights and seen that they will fit if i cut my loom...no probs, but i bought the bumper so i can fit it and wire up the fog lights, can anyone tell me if it will work and will i need anything that i haven't mention.
also how well do the headlights fit.

You need the wing mounts from the facelift vehicle to mount the bumper. The shock mounts are fine, its the side ones that differ. Otherwise it will fit straight on

what about my headlights do they fit straight in.

What about the back bumper on the saloon, will that fit my avant.

headlights yes, may have to notch the wing inside, depends on car
bumper.....don't think so. avant and saloon are different bumpers I think

you'll have to cut the front wings slightly to fit the headlights, theres a lip that holds the indicator on pre-facelift cars that needs to be removed to fit the facelift lights.
