What bulbs?

one of the bulbs has gone in my headlight, wondering what the fitment is thou, being as I have never changed them!

its a 1999 a4 saloon with the facelift, so has the one piece headlights, will change all the bulbs for brighter ones, guessing there are seperate ones for the mains and sidelights?

H7 in both main and dip, sidelight is a wedge type bulb

what do you mean by wedge type? the little ones with the square tab?

yep.
don't waste your money on Phillips or Osram +85% bulbs or similar.
I even fitted some 100W ones and they all look the same from a distance.

The wedge-type sidelight bulbs found in facelift headlights have two metal wires overlapping the glass base; think they are called W501 bulbs........
