i hope i don't upset anyone with this but soldering the wires sometimes don't work. you need the vagcom to turn the light off an then turn the steering wheel from fall lock to the other an back. if the light comes on its the clock spring in the steerin rack at the top. if not then you can say its the conector under the seat.

well vagcom will tell you what caused the light to come on in the first place.

If its the seat, it will tell you its the seat, and if its the main airbag it will tell you its that.
