Been thinking of getting one of these handheld scanners either u280 or u281
I've got a lead off ebay which works fine with my laptop with the free version of vag com, but i thought i could keep this in the car to use when needed.
Had to drive around with airbag light on for two days before i could get my laptop in my car.
Not sure what the difference between the two but has anyone got one or used one?

The u280 and u281 look the same and boh seem to work with a 1999 a4
Any advice would be good.
