fake carbon sticker?

has anybody had good results with the fake stick on carbon sheets?im thinking of trying it on the interior trim thats on the doors and dash(thin metal effect bit)as mine are scratched.not many contours so think it should work and look more like the rs4 strips but without the silly cost of the real thing.

There are varying qualities of the Carbon effect stuff, the expensive stuff from a Vinyl supplier will adhere, shape, stick and appear quite reasonabe, and the quality materials such as this would probably cost the same as a proper carbon panel kit.

As far as the cheapie coloured sticker rolls from motor factors, fleabay or market stalls - forget it !!

And please take that from someone who used to sell the stuff !!!

You could get real carbon with 3M sticky backing. Never used it myself so know idea what it's actually like
