    clutch problems

hi all just bought a 1999 t reg s4 avant 2.7 bi turbo and it looks like the either the clutch and/or the flywheel needs to be replaced

in 3rd and 4th gear if you put your foot down hard it gets to about 3000 rpm and the revs pick up like you've dipped the clutch it rides to about 4000 rpm then settles and pulls normally again any idea's

and anyone know of a reasonable price and stock on the replacements

defo sounds like clutch slip, often though, a slipping clutch will damage the flywheel too, so you end up having to change both.

Probably worth installing an RS4 item while your there.

My RS4 clutch cost 226 for a genuine friction disc, pressure plate and release bearing.

Unfortunately, it's not sold as a kit, seperates cost more.
Your flywheel will most likely be toast too.
