hey hey my mate has crashed his 99 B5 and i have pinched the headlights from her lol not that he knows yet

not what type of HID kit do i need to get full beam and dipped HID lights H7??

Would also like some HID fogs are some stage as well.

Cheers all

I wouldnt do the high beam as HIDs dont like being used to flash on and off etc. H7 is fine for the normal main beam lights

You will need the wiring plugs from the donor car too as well as you trimming the edge off your wing.

As mark said, H7 for dip and keep the mains on halogen so you can flash people etc.

Fogs are H1 iirc and HID's should be fine in them.

hmm ye, pre-facelift fogs are in the headlight...

You'd have to fabricate something up to fit them in the bumper...

ok so i got the face lift lights in but hlf way throgh fitting i noticed the passenger side headlight loom had 5 wires where as the drivers sides has only 4.

i wired her up anyway and shes working, just need to get an alignment box for one of the lights.

Had to trim some body work also, ill grab some poics when the sky clears bit cloudy with me still

Personally, I wouldn't go with HID's with fog lamps.

Even at 3000k, they're way too bright, and if you happen to hit thick fog, the glare would blind you - all you'll see would be a thick fog blanket, and not much else!

The very reason it's not wise to run mains in thick fog.
My fog lamps are just the regular 55w H7's, though I seldom use them.
