on the way home I stopped of at a local shop to get some milk as you do. I got the milk, paid for it and got back to the car only to find the bonnet covered in dirt and with a bl**dy pine tree on the wind screen and bonnet....

I saw the 13+yr old kids when I parked up and had gone when I got back.

yes its scratched to hell but could have been worse, not sure if the 101 layers of polish protect the paint work, but was bad enough. when I got home and opened the bonnet the back shelf was also covered.

so there I was with the flood lights on hoovering up the dirt and washing the bonnet.

how so I find out my paint code, I need a few touch-ups...

Sh*t. :( Sorry to hear it.

To find out your paint code, grab your service book and look for the sticker on the inside of the front cover. The paint code is four digits beginning with L, such as LA5G or LZ5T.

Had a group of liitle shits last night. Got a lift home from the mother in law when a group decided to throw an olkd bound up matress into the road. ******* morons!

Sorry to hear about that mate. I hate any time around halloween. Kids think its an excuse to be able to do whatever they want....not that they don't anyway. About 5 years ago was driving home with my kids in the car about 10 at night when a group of about 50 kids not much older than 5 decided to throw a dozen eggs at the car. Some must have been hardboiled cause it ****** trashed the whole side of the car. Police not interested even though they had a 100 compalints and knew who they were. Even made the local news and caused all the shops to ban the sale of eggs to anyone under the age of 18

mac1403 was that on the Quattro.? and did you have to claim on your insurance..? oh and nice S3

why weren't the police not intested in helping out..

Na, luckily not the quattro. It was an old ford escort I was running back and for work. Usually left on the road but must have ben devine intervention as it was in front of the garage so took it instead of the Audi. Police said there were too many people to single out the ones resposible.......so there's a tip....if you want to break the law do it in a BIG gang and save the police the effort of investigating
