Im going to Blue my dash soon... done it to alot of past cars. just wondering, how hard are the audi clocks to take appart to remove the red filter so i can put blue LEDs in place of the factory blubs??

Cheers

I tried to do it only a couple of bulbs all the rest are tiny soldered leds from what i could see

All S4's, and facelift A4 have tiny surface-mounted LED's, soldered in place, excluding the main illumination bulbs, which are regular bulbs.

All pre-facelift A4's run regular bulbs all through, and are easy to replace with LED's.

siena.. how dificult is it to remove the red filter inside the clocks?

if you get me pics of the inside circuits i can tell if i can solder the SMD LEDs for you.
