Has anyone remapped their ecu for a '99.5 A4 1.8T Quattro and with who. Searches have revealed that the 150bhp 1.8T remap to around 190bhp. Bearing in mind that the 150bhp and 180bhp are virtually identical, do 180bhp 1.8T's remap to a higher output as I don't see spending approx £500 great value for only a gain of 10bhp. The Amd site states a gain of upto 40bhp but thats for a 150bhp 1.8T. Please set my mind at ease. Thanks.

yeah, i have. I went with APR(www.goapr.com). There is a noticeable difference from stock and chipped.

This is all quoted from the APR web site

If I'm not mistaken the 150 hp can be remapped to "200 hp" at 91 Oct.
The 2000 "180 hp" can be remapped to "200 hp" at 91 Oct. or "206 hp" at 93 Oct.
The 2001 "180 hp" can be remapped to "206 hp" at 91 Oct. or "214 hp" at 93 Oct.

Tnanks, Have you had yours dyno'd? going by your example, 98oct should around 210-220 on a 95.5 1.8T. Any one care to share their experience of other chip tuners regarding the 99.5 A4? Thanks again.
