Audi a4 1.8t getting service insp light when start

HI all i have a 98 1.8t and everytime i start the car i get a "service INSP" light that comes on.Just woundering if any body might now what that code stands foe and how to get rid of it???thanks

I think you just need to take it to a dealer and get it serviced!

Thanks that all i was hoping it was... Did u ever have any problem with the crank belt tensioner... I was just aboiut to go on a trip when my tensioner fell out of the socket. I fixed it for now..BUt was just woundering
