    Headlights

I have kept meaning to take some decent pics to show off the headlights i modded.

I finally managed to get some taken with my brothers camera at the weekend and chucked them online for you to see

    http://www.lr90.org/Audi/lights/

I've just linked to the folder as the pictures are pretty large and i dont want to wedge huge images inline!

Let me know what you think!

I like them on one hand and on the other i don't... I like the way the black works with the projector and indicator but the big chrome bit where the main beam is im not sure on, kinda makes it look like a seperate unit.
Hat off to you it looks like a clean job

    cheers

I recon it makes it look a bit meaner. The stock facelift lamps are a bit too chrome bling for me! I want to paint the grill surround and maybe the badge the same color, not sure if i will paint the grill itself though, i quite fancy an RS4 one but cant really afford it just now.

The large chrome area for the main beam is the only downside, ive seen some pics of a dual projector conversion however which would fix that i guess! Thats a LOT more work though.

It was on one of the yank forums iirc. basically the guy took a second set of headlights, removed the innards and cut the projector out, then fibreglassed it into the first set in place of the main beam. Lots of smoothing and painting later and he had two projectors. He painted the projector frame silver though, and imo it looked a bit silly, he really should have gone dark with them!

I'll try n find the link.
