Ive just bought a P reg tdi and it has what can only be described as a worn out bus steering wheel fitted. So im after a new wheel ,prefer a leather on any type the cheaper the better !!. And does anyone know if the 4 spoke off the facelift 1.8se will fit without causing issues with the airbag ??

need to remove it to check as there is a swap over around 97-98 the early wont fit the later and vice versa. My 98 was the later type, i have the old wheel if you want it, but you would need to check the splines etc

Thanks mark,Mines a november 1996 model,so i dont think it will fit. i'll take the wheel off when i get chance and check,what type of wheel do you have ??

4 spoke leather thingy that came on mine as as SE with airbag,its just kicking around.

Thats just what im looking for but ive a feeling it wont fit !!
