s4 clutch

I have a t sport atm and test drove a S4 yesterday.

the clutch was biting quite a bit lower and I was getting a bit of judder on it

was in a s4 with 95k - is this how the clutches are with the s4 rather than the typical high biting A4's like my t sport?

They do bite fairly soon. The judder will just be because you're not used to controlling the stiffer clutch and more torque.

I've had mine 2 years, and I'm still able to occasionally embarrass myself by kangarooing up the road!

As far as I know, mine is still the original clutch at 168K miles. And it's no more stiff that the Mrs 50K bora clutch.

cheers chaps my a4 clutch on original is now over 120k so was keen to know the difference

shame the one I viewed had a raised rear drivers side passenger seat floor i.e. someone had jacked her up in the wrong spot!

off to see 2 more on friday - fingers crossed

now to decide estate or saloon
