picked up some tungsten Carbide burrs for some head work I am doing and thought I would give them a run in on my old exhaust manifold.

cut out about 3/4 of a pint of material, port matched to the gaskets ,removed all the casting anomolies around the inside of the stupid three bolts turbo mounting points, opened up the runners on cylinder 2 and 3 9they get squeezed in the middle) and smoothed out the transition from head to manifold runner and from runner to turbo.

its not a chavy polished number but its just as smooth as the cast one was originally.

some areas are rough but should give you a bit more flow with a less restriction

pile of swarf (couldn;t turn it round!)

it looks a lot but am sure there is room for more.
not much point once you have removed the obstructions, need to keep the gas velocity up and opening it right up on a small turbo would make it spool up later.
worth a crack though.
no use to me so I am selling it once i have tidied it up a bit
