Rear Brake Pads - which brand

I am after recomendations for which rear brake pads to purchase!
mine are missing a retainer spring (only 2 months old as well which is really annoyiing) and rattling in the calipers so need to replace them and would like some recomendations please

whats fitted to the front? if its just OE pads then i recommend standard mintex pads.

www.buypartsbuy.co.uk usually do them pretty cheap.

if its performance you looking for then Mintex 1144 compund or ferodo DS2500's

i dont rate black diamond or EBC at all, heard too many horror stories of ebc pads breaking up and the black diamond stuff imo just isnt that good. They seem to be aimed at chavs in their saxo 1.1's who want to look cool.
The Mintex 1144/1155/1166 and the Ferodo DS2500/3000 pads are aimed at track/competition use, with the lower numbers still being good enough when cold for good road perfomance.
