With me returning my engine back to a standard turbo and tune for now i thought it wise to refresh my engine before i tune it again.

I have bought a new oil pump and sump gasket as i have read horror stories of peoples engines giving up due to either the pick up getting clogged or oil pump failure, engines done 116,000 with a full Audi service history up until 100,000 miles, so thought i may be time for a slight overhall.

So while im under there should i pop off the rod and crank bearings test and renew them if needed?? Anyone got an idea on cost of a full set? Also angthing else i should do while im under there with the sump off?
