Well I managed to find time to wash my poor car today as it badly needed it - ****** birds!

Managed to scare the crap out of myself at one point. I was crouching down cleaning under the sil, when suddenly all four windows dropped about 3 inches. I felt like Shia LeBeouf's character in Transformers.

Couldn't understand it to begin with, as the keys where in my pocket. Then after messing about with the remote key-fob, I realised I could open and close all four windows at the same time by pressing and holding the lock or unlock button. Hmm took me almost 2yrs to work that one out.

Anywho, thought it was about time I stuck up some pics of the ol' girl. Apologies for the quality of the pics, I'm no Bavid Dailey.

Didn't have time to polish her, but I'll save that for next week when I get my my new rims :icon_thumright:

Like the car, its looks good. :)

Is your exhaust an upgrade.?

I like the look of the twin pipes, if it's an addition, where did you get it from.?

Thanks,
Rob.

Thanks man.

Yeah I've fitted a Milltek cat-back, I got it from Star Performance.

It sounds good, not too loud and gave me a decent increase in power - did take the Audi dealer a couple of goes to get the fit right though.

Cheers

love that number plate, should be on an m3 beater

Oddly enough, it used to be

and before that:

Tbh it doesn't really suit the A4, but I wasn't going to pay to keep it on retention.

Don't worry though, by the end of the year (if this economy ever picks itself back up) it will be back on an M3 beater :eyebrows:

-sorry about the pic sizes, Im at work and its not easy to resize them here. Mods, if they are too big I can just revert to the links.

I thank you :salute:

Still not 100% happy with the fit though, the rear silencer (not the back box) hangs quite low compared to the rest of the system and can catch on uneven ground or some sleeping policemen. My Audi dealer has had two goes at fitting it and blames the fact its an aftermarket piece...surprise.

Tbh last night I was even looking at Neuspeed exhausts as a possible replacement. For now I'm going to book it into an exhuast specialist to have it refitted, and/or the offending part replaced with either a smaller box or pipe. If that works then it'll stay.

Yeah comfort system does that mate for windows/roof, best to turn the roll down function of in Vag as then if the key gets depressed again while in pocket, the windows/roof wont undo.

Roll up can stay on.

A timer relay in the right place/wiring will enable you to do single click on remote full roll up as I did on my S3.

ha ha nice cars, are you a drug dealer, thats what they all drive around here

nigelhobden any more info on that timer relay, always wondered if it was possible to convert to one touch, seems daft standing there pointing remote, but never seen any write ups on it

Soupie : np, you can have first dibs.

Nigel : Cheers for the tip.

Olds_kool : Lol, youre not the first person to make that comment - wish I was a drug dealer, making money the legitimate way is soo much more work :(
