indicator question

i dont think my car has a "bulb out" display

and i have got some clear indicators. but i dont want to use the orange bulbs, or pay £15 for some silver painted ones

i was thinking of using 2 of these

now im not sure if either it will flash faster than it should, and or a warning light will come on?

what do you guys reckon?

you can get silver 501 bulbs for a few quid on ebay, tried led bulbs as sidelights, but after a couple of weeks they started flashing?

I have the Osram silver bulbs, have been in for 4 years fine, and also i have LEDs in the sides and they have been in the same time, but they were expensive ones

i may stick with bulbs as either way itll be less hassle, i spotted a resistor that hooks in to counter the fast flashing but its a bit too much hassle for side repeators,.
