Anyone de-locked the drivers door with a rear door handle?
Or is it not that easy, whats involed?

I have seen on the US forums people get a foreign pass side one depending which is the opposite to theirs. Maybe a rear one would work though.

Rear one works fine.

But not a mod I'd consider - it works too well, and the lock itself isn't obtrusive.

What are you trying to unclip?

The handle, or the lock assembly?

Are your handles pre or post-facelift? Facelift models are held in place by means of a sliding plate, that locks 2 square studs of the outer assembly, to the inner assembly.

Pre-facelift models are a little different - a small torx-headed bolt secures one end, whilst the end with the lock is secured with a swivel yoke.

A point to remember is, facelift models have the lock assembly integral with the inner assembly, and it can't be seperated.

post facelift, have a digram but itis pants, can't see the studs or plate

What do you meen it works too well?

I mean, it's really convenient having at least 1 lock.

Deleting all, and relying on a remote fob is asking for trouble.
