S3 clocks in a a4 N Reg

will they fit right in place of my old ones??? will every thing work ect??

S3 or S4 clocks?

Either way, they won't work in your '96 model.

S3 is completely different in shape and configuration.

S4 clocks are from '98 onwards, and the connectors and signals are very different to your '96 model.
