6X9 or 165mm??? that is the question

I am looking to replace my back speakers. Should i fit 165mm 3 ways or a set of 6X9's

165's slot straight in (I presume you're talking parcel shelf), with the right adapter. Might be worth considering 2 way components with the tweeters mounted on the rear pillars facing forward.
I had straight pioneers at first, but they sounded muddy until I put separate tweeters in.
