avant rear light upgrade

Hi everyone, this is my first post and iam just after some advise on modding my 96avant 1.8T. I have searched through all 65 pages and cant seem to see if anyone out there has ever fitted the facelift rear lights? From what i can gather i will need to make wiring mods, thats no prob but i want to be sure they will fit!! Any advice? Thanks

Im not 100% sure on this but i think the facelift lights are the same on the avant models,at least mine are anyway !!

Hi thanks for reply 951. Ive done more research and found out that they do! Changing my car for a later facelift car now anyway as the turbo has blown on mine, so going to fix it and sell it on.

Any one know of some decent rear light replacements that will make the rear of a B5 avant look more modern? I can't seem to find any, I am not after the over the top look, like you would see on a saxo!
something sharper than std though
any ideas?????
