changing headlights and rear lights to facelift

how easy is changing the headlights and real lights to the facelift model? is it just a straight swap or will the new lights need modifying? are they exactly the same size?

    thanks

You're not very patient, are you? You only started the post two hours ago! People do have other things to do with their lives, especially on a Saturday night.
You might look at another string, on a very similar topic, which you should find by paging down the forum. It's headed "99 headlights in a 97 A4", & was posted by 97A4turbo. You should find it helpful, yes?

But in essence the answer is:-
Back lights easy change no mods needed
    cost 100 + 1 hour.
    Front lights not so easy
    Cost 350 and 3 hours.
    As far as I know.
