Oil cooler?

Does anyone have any tips on changing the oil cooler on an 1.8T sport.. seems fairly simple but any information would be greatly received ie. gaskets required, anything to watch out for? etc.

Do you mean a stock replacement or fitting a take off plate and a bar and plate
cooler?

you only need to take the square part off i think, the bracket can stay on the engine.

you undo the oil filter then there is a nut you need to undo to get the threaded tube out that the oil filter screws to.

there is a seal i believe once you take the cooler off that goes between bracket and cooler. mine leaks here so suggest replacing.

can't remember if the temp and pressure sensors go into bracket or cooler (think it's the bracket). but if you need to take them off then you need new crush washers.

that's all i can remember from memory.
