I had some Continetal SportContact 3 tyres (235/40/18) fitted to my A4 Avant in August by a big tyre supplier (MTS). They said the Contact 3 replaces the Contact 2. I need another tyre now and my local supplier (F1 Autocentres) says the Contact 3 is not available anymore and they can only supply Contact 2s.
Are they correct or is F1 Autocentres just fobbing me off with old tyres because they can't get Contact3s?
