Hi, the alloys on my 1997 1.8T A4 Sport are looking a bit scabby, so I bought a replacement set on ebay. They're a similar style, but from the later model (2002ish Sport).

I hadnt realised that the offset on mine is ET45, and the new ones are ET42. I havent tried fitting them yet - does anyone know if they'll be ok?

These are the replacements:

Thanks

****** hell, that was a quick response!! They're the original 5 spoke Audi Sport wheels, and they do have ET45 stamped on the back of them.

They should be fine but if they do rub a set of small spacers will sort it out so no problem.

@ ET 42, they'll be fine. No chance of rubbing, they'll fill out the arches more.

higher ETs mean they will sit in further ,and risk more of touching calipers but if the old ones are 45s and new are 42 should be fine unless the spokes are thicker and nearer to the ET its self if you understand sorry

So what is the actualy correct offset on a 1997 1.8t as i thought it was 35?

All are ET45. 35mm offset was used on B4 Audi Coupe.
